Awkward odd jobs undertaken.
Odd job man with experience of problem solving on farms, building sites, boats, domestic properties & leisure providers. I can drive an excavator, tractor, teleporter fork truck, roller, dumper & motor boats. Will undertake hand digging where machines can't go, repair & refurbish property (inside & out), do basic arc welding (not on vehicles) clear wildernesses. I currently manage a campsite with 2 buildings, 2 fields, 2 sets of woodland & a playground. Worked on a boat as crew/cook/rescuer/security/maintenance. Organized rescue teams for triathlon events & acted as race director for night bike races. Wrangler for an armwrestling promotion. Recently refurbished floating pontoons on a lake. Sometimes the task is simple: something heavy to be moved upstairs, a days refresh around a property for a landlord with a new tenant, clearing leaves from a driveway, cutting back a few overhanging branches. Other times it's more involved- assistance with an engineering project, or advice on how to repair something simple that no one else wants to do. As a volunteer on a beach & lake I organized rescue teams. I've worked as a race director for triathlon events, security for a film company, wrangler for an armwrestling promotion. I work mostly alone but can organize & co-ordinate teams & subcontractors. It's a throw away world, becoming more reliant on tech. There is plenty to do for an odd job man with a bag of tools, a strong arm & some gumption. Will travel if the job is interesting but generally stay local to Birmingham area.
